Albert J. Bisson is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He currently practices at Oklahoma Spine, Sports & Rehabilitation, a division of Neuroscience Specialists. Dr. Bisson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He completed his internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Bisson is the Medical Director of the Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital. Previously he was the Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Baylor Medical Center in Garland, Texas and Associate Staff Physiatrist at the Tom Landry Sports Medicine and Research Center at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr.Bisson has been a guest lecturer at the Texas Women’s University School of Occupational Therapy and the Neuroscience Institute at Mercy on such topics such as “Medical Evaluation of the Lumbar Spine,” “Medical Evaluation of the Cervical Spine,” “Wellness and Fitness for Spinal Cord Injury" and “Spasticity Issues.”
Currently, Dr. Bisson is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
